How does Wishes work?

Wishes is a wishlist you share with one link. It works in four steps.

1. Make a wishlist. In the Wishes app on iPhone or Android, or on the web at wishes.app/new. Give it a name, like "Maya's 7th birthday", and pick a theme if you like. See How do I make a wishlist?
2. Add wishes. Paste a link from any store and Wishes brings in the photo, name and link. You can also type a wish yourself. See How do I add wishes?
3. Share one link. Send it in the family chat, by text or by email. Friends open it in their browser, with no app and no account. Booking asks for a quick Apple or Google sign-in. See How do I share my wishlist?
4. Friends book gifts. When someone books a wish, everyone sees it's taken, so nobody buys the same gift twice. You see that a wish is booked, never who booked it.

Making, sharing and booking are free, and so are your first three wishlists. Wishes Plus adds more.
