How to use this Christmas list template
Write your name
Say whose list it is, so nobody mixes it up with a sibling's. Writing to Santa? Tick “My list for Santa” and the heading changes.
Add one gift per row
Write the gift, where to find it, roughly what it costs, and the size or color. Add rows as you need them, or remove the ones you don't.
Print it or copy it
Print a clean one-page list, or copy it as text to paste into a message or an email. Print before typing anything and you get a blank list to fill in by hand.
Tips for a good Christmas list
Name the exact thing
The brand, the model, the edition. “A cozy sweater” gets you someone else's idea of cozy.
Write the size and color
Sizes differ between brands, so write the one that fits you in that store, and the color you would actually wear.
Say where to find it
A store name or a link saves the giver a search and gets you the right version, not the one next to it.
Spread the prices
Mix small things with a few bigger ones, so everyone who shops for you finds something that fits their budget.
List more than you need
Roughly twice as many ideas as people buying for you, so the last person to shop still has a choice.
Send it early
Black Friday is November 27, 2026, and a lot of the buying happens that weekend. A list that is out before then is one people can shop from.
A list on paper, or a list online
A printed Christmas list is good for the fridge, for a letter to Santa, and for anyone who thinks better with a pen. What it can't do is tell two aunts that they are both buying the same thing.

Only in your own browser, so the list is still there if you reload the page. It is not sent to Wishes or anyone else. Clear removes it.
How is this different from a Wishes list?
This template is a list you print or copy. A Wishes list lives online: you share one link, family and friends open it without an account, and when someone books a gift everyone else sees it is taken, so nobody buys the same thing. Booking a gift takes a free Apple or Google sign-in.
How many things should I put on my Christmas list?
