How do I do a Kris Kringle draw online?

Is Kris Kringle the same as Secret Santa?
Yes. Kris Kringle is what Secret Santa is often called in Australia and Ireland: everyone draws one name in secret and buys that person a present. The name comes from Christkindl, a German name for the Christ Child who brings Christmas presents. This generator is the same one as the Wishes Secret Santa generator.
Can I keep couples from drawing each other?
Yes. Once the names are in, pick two people under Keep apart and add as many pairs as you need. Neither person in a pair will draw the other. If the pairs leave someone with no one to draw, the page tells you who, so you can remove a pair.
Does the organiser see who drew who?
No. After the draw you see one link per person, labelled with their name, and never who drew who, so whoever organises it can take part. Each link shows only its own match, so everyone should open only their own. Nothing you type is sent to Wishes, so we never see the names either.
Is it free, and does everyone need an account?
It's free for 3 to 50 people, with no sign-up, and you can draw again as often as you need. Neither you nor anyone opening a link needs an account. Each link also offers to make a free Wishes wishlist, which is optional and asks for an Apple or Google sign-in.
Does it email everyone their name?
No, you send the links yourself. The generator sends no emails or texts and never asks for an email address. After the draw, Share link opens your device's share menu where there is one, or copies the link, so you can send it by text, email, WhatsApp or your work chat.
How much should we spend on Kris Kringle?
