How do I book a gift?

Booking a gift tells everyone else it's taken, so nobody buys the same thing twice.

1. Open the wishlist link you were sent. You don't need an account to look around.
2. Tap the wish you want to give.
3. Tap Book.
4. Sign in with Apple or Google when Wishes asks. Your booking is kept on your account.

The wish now shows as Booked to everyone. The owner sees that it's booked, never who booked it. For you, it shows as Booked by me, so you remember what you're giving.

Changed your mind? Open the wish and tap Unbook, and it's free for someone else.

Mark your own wish as booked

Already got something on your own wishlist? In the app, open the wish, tap the three dots and choose Mark as booked. On iPhone you can also touch and hold the wish.
